* When the FDA grants Breakthrough Therapy Designation to an investigational drug, it means the drug has shown preliminary clinical evidence that it may offer a significant improvement over existing treatments for a serious or life-threatening condition. This designation helps expedite development and review, providing the drug sponsor with increased FDA guidance and priority review to bring the treatment to patients faster.
If you know someone struggling with depression or anxiety who may be interested in this opportunity, please share this with them.
