I came to Kadima with a deep distrust for our medical system and after being failed numerous times by the mental health system. Dr. Feifel created a plan for me that considered this, my wishes, and what would be most effective. I felt I was seen as an individual, I was extended dignity by his staff during an incredibly difficult time.

The effectiveness of my treatment plan is something I’ve never experienced in traditional mental health. Ketamine was very effective right away. We combined TMS with it towards the end of my ketamine treatments. My brain feels clearer, more focused and most of all, I was able to get off SSRIs that had been nearly impossible to taper off before I went to Kadima. I met all my mental health goals with my treatment. I will never go back to traditional mental health modalities. Dr. Feifel has changed the mental health space forever.

I’ve been so impacted by this place that in my career transition, I’m now looking at going this direction, to help others when the system has failed them. This approach is the future and Dr. Feifel is a pioneer.

Dr. Corey was amazing, and I am equally as appreciative of Dr. Miro. As a special mention, Taylor is one of the most competent nurses that has ever cared for me. Taylor is able to place my IV on the first attempt virtually every time I come in. My wife, an anesthesiologist, also said that Taylor is fantastic, and she has a high bar for medical professionals!

All the staff including Taylor are also extremely pleasant to engage with.  Your forms and check-in process are simple and great. I have no complaints, and am thankful you are there to care for my complex case.

I suffered a left-shoulder disarticulation (complete loss of left arm),  and suffer from horrible phantom pain.  IV Ketamine therapy is proven, though not widely practiced, manner of treating phantom limb pain.  The ketamine attaches to the pain receptors in the brain and gives you relief.

The 1 - 1.5 hour treatment I undergo, recharges me so that for the first few days post-treatment I have virtually no pain.  It takes about 6 weeks for it to return to a severe state.

This is a partial sedation, where you remain awake,  and I often work while being treated.  IV ketamine treatment for me is better than oral or nasal because through an IV it works perfectly.

Orally consumed ketamine has a low bio-availability.  Ketamine is a dangerous drug to take at home alone, so I much prefer going to Kadima where it is safe, supervised and comfortable.  Since starting this treatment, I take no opioids, and feel so much better.

I could not recommend anyone else in the San Diego area for this treatment.
